There are three types of throws that are mainly used in an Ultimate game; the backhand and forehand throws which are considered the basics, and the overhead throw, more commonly known as the hammer throw, which is considered to be more advanced.
In a standard 40-minute long tournament, the time slot for a thrower to keep hold of the frisbee is 10 seconds. A staller has to count from 1 all the way to 10 on an interval of 1 second per count. Now, if the stalling continues even at the “T” of the number, the staller will face a stall out.
The Frisbee may be passed in any direction—forward, to the sides or backwards. Any time the Frisbee goes out of bounds or touches the ground there is an immediate change of possession at designated spot.
Yes, disc golf is a tough sport and it is very hard to play. Trying to throw a small disc hundreds of feet accurately takes tremendous skill and practice. Disc golf is an extremely challenging sport that takes years of practice to master.
