Anna Kendrick (“Into the Woods,” “The Last Five Years”) and Zac Efron (“High School Musical,” “17 Again”) will co-star in the new film comedy “Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates,” according to Variety.
Zac Efron’s singing voice was that of Drew Seeley, who tested for the role of Troy. Efron did, however, do all of his own singing in the sequels, as all the music in those films had been tailored specifically for his voice.
Efron played young Simon Tam in the Firefly episode “Safe.” J.J. Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan have reportedly finished the screenplay for Star Wars: Episode VII, only a few months after original screenwriter Michael Arndt stepped down from the project.
And probably the funniest addition on this list is Zac Efron in Robot Chicken. He voiced Anakin Skywalker on the stop-motion sketch comedy series in 2010 and later in 2016. While it’s mostly in the role of Anakin, you could argue Efron voiced him on Mustafar, which was essentially Vader just before the machinery.
Efron, who stars in the new rom-com That Awkward Moment and is known for his roles in films such as High School Musical and 17 Again, told MTV that he had met with the people behind the sci-fi franchise and that he was a big fan of the original films. “Yeah, I just went and met with them,” said Efron.

Padmé Amidala Naberrie was a human female senator who represented the people of Naboo during the final years of the Galactic Republic. Devoting her life to civic duty, she was elected queen and, therefore, adopted the regnal name “Amidala” in 32 BBY.
Luke and Leia know who their real mother is… Disney’s new canon has done little to tie in elements of this later period of Star Wars events to the prequels, but Bloodline does so with the revelation that the Skywalker twins are now aware of their true parentage as the children of Padmé Amidala.
