I’m really sorry that Dark mode in internet explorer 11 is not yet available, but we will surely suggest this to Microsoft so it will be added on the future updates.
To enable Dark Mode, head to Settings > Personalization > Colors. Scroll down and select the “Dark” option under the “Choose your app mode” section. A few desktop applications, including File Explorer and Paint.NET, do respect this setting—but most don’t.
1. Enter the Settings menu, choose ‘Personalization’ click ‘Colors’ and scroll down to the switch marked ‘Choose your default app mode’. 2. Change this to ‘Dark’ and all apps with a native dark mode, including Chrome, will change color.

To enable the File Explorer dark theme, head to Settings > Personalization > Colors. Then scroll down in the right column to the More options section and choose Dark for the “Choose your default app mode” option. That’s it.
To turn off the Dark Mode in Windows 10, open Settings and go to Personalization. On the left column, choose Colors, and then select the following options: In the “Choose your color” dropdown list, choose Custom. Under “Choose your default Windows mode,” select Dark.
If the dark theme isn’t available for File Explorer on your PC, the issue is most likely related to a missing update. The dark theme in File Explorer is a new feature, and so far it’s available only in Windows 10 October update or later.
