The Statistical Process has five steps: Design the study, Collect the data, Describe the data, Make inferences, Take action. In a designed experiment, researchers control the conditions of the study.

The Four-Step Process • STATE the practical, real-world problem • FORMULATE : What specific statistical operations are called for? SOLVE : Make graphs and carry out the necessary calculations. CONCLUDE : Give your conclusion in the setting of the real-world problem.

Consider statistics as a problem-solving process and examine its four components: asking questions, collecting appropriate data, analyzing the data, and interpreting the results. This session investigates the nature of data and its potential sources of variation.

Four-Step Statistical Process:

- Plan (Ask a question): formulate a statistical question that can be answered with data.
- Collect (Produce Data): design and implement a plan to collect appropriate data.
- Process (Analyze the Data): organize and summarize the data by graphical or numerical methods.

There are five main stages of Statistical method. Those are – (1) Data collection, (2) Data organisation, (3) Data presentation, (4) Analysis (5) Interpretation.
