10 (UPI) — Demi Lovato is making her TV return on the NBC series Will & Grace. The 27-year-old singer and actress arrived on the show Thursday as Jenny, a surrogate mom and cam girl. The episode showed Will (Eric McCormack) and Karen (Megan Mullally) meet Jenny (Lovato) for the first time.
When Will & Grace premiered in 1998, it was downright revolutionary that a major broadcast network would air a primetime show in which two of its four main characters (Will Truman and Jack McFarland) were openly gay men.
The couple married during the revival. Will & Grace left Jack in the wake of his lifelong dream being realized and the hope that more could follow.
